Have 2 laptops connected to Readyshare. Been working OK.
One laptop had a hard drive die, so I replaced and reloaded win10.
The bad drive would still let me get files off of it, so I didn't use ReadyShare
After reinstalling everything, both computers can't connect to ReadyShare
Simply won't recogize there is a drive attached.
Attached drive has its blue light blinking, so I know it's alive.
Any ideas on how to fix?
BTW the new version of Genie is so slow it is painful to use.

OK, Found the solution.
Uninstall the latest version of Genie. It is junkware.
Reinstall the pervious version. All is good.

Re: ReadyShare can't find USB drive
What Genie version were you using previously and what version that made it worked?

Re: ReadyShare can't find USB drive
Your software does not display version numbers, so I have no idea.
My admin interface suggested updating to the newest version, and that's when the trouble began.
I found a 2.428.0 Genie version from 2016 in one of my folders. Maybe that is the one I went back to.
