The the first, by convention, is a 5 GHz Wi-Fi signal, while the other is a 2.4 GHz signal. 5 GHz Wi-Fi is often faster due to higher bandwidth and fewer users. It has slightly less range but it often makes up for that with faster speeds. Clients must also support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. This is often known as "dual-band" support.
