I have a problem with internet stability when browsing and connecting to league of legends.
I was in chats with riot support and they told me it looked like I was using two routers and the second one was dropping connection a lot.
I have tried netgear support a number of times and they always disconnect from me before finding a problem.

Looking at the link you provided, your modem is also a router.
Your NETGEAR is a router therefore you have two routers.
What you can do is call your ISP and have them set your surfboard modem to be in modem only.
Once done, configure the router for Cable Connection then observe if your internet will still drop.

Re: WNDR 4500 not set up correctly
Welcome to the community, @Ranok
What's the brand of the modem that you have?
If you can set the modem be in bridge, please do so and then verify your connection.
If you have 2 routers running then most likely you will really have problems playing a game.
Once you have configured the modem be in bridge mode then you will need to make sure that all ports for the game are properly forwarded to the router. See the link below for more information.
How do I configure port forwarding on routers with the NETGEAR genie interface?

I do not have two routers but I was told it seemed I did. I only have the modem and 1 router.

Kindly provide us more information.
Brand of the modem?
For the issue you're having it is most likely that you need to open ports by doing Port Forwarding.

That's the router.
The modem is the one that your ISP provided you.
