WNR2000v4 as Wireless Repeater?

I have a Netgear wireless router in my basement with the Cable modem.

I have a second Netgear Router (WNR2000v4) router that I would like to setup as a wireless repeater on the second floor.

In chapter 7 of the user manual it indicates the option to enable this is under Advanced | Advanced Setup | Wireless Repeating Function

However, in my router, under Advanced | Advanced Setup there is no Wireless Repeating Function??

Does this need to be enabled somewhere else to show up?

I am on firmware v1.0.0.64

Thank you for any help!!

Model: WNR2000v4|N300 Wireless Router|EOL

Welcome to the community, @rroche

The repeating function has been removed on firmware version 1.0.0.58 due to less security.

If you like the feature, you will need to downgrade the firmware.

@Rjl907 What website? Are you talking about the www.routerlogin.net?

See the articles below on how you can access it.

If you cannot login to your router

Why can’t I access routerlogin.com or routerlogin.net?
