Incorrect MAC Addresses being shown on Netgear R7800 router

Hi

I have noticed connected devices to my wifi network (Mac addresses of each device) don't display the same MAC address when viewing on the "Access Control" page within Router Administration program.

But it seems that if I view the "View list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network" devices

the correct MAC address(es) are displayed. (even though these devices ARE connected to the network)

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

If I turn off "Internet" or "Block" the device in question from the device list (currently connected to the wifi network) this being the wrongly displayed WIFI MAC Address (it does block the device in questionfrom getting out to the web).....So why is it showing a different MAC Address to the one that is ACTUALLY the MAC Address for the device?

The only thing I can think of is that I do have a Netgear Extender upstairs....could this be causing the mismatch in MAC Addresses?

Any thoughts would be great..

The whole point of this exercise is to correctly identify the right MAC Addresses to the right Devices (and label them) so it is easier to troubleshoot individual devices if there's an issue.

Current firmware version is latest (V1.0.2.80)

Regards

Ken
