Netgear Nighthawk M5 MR5200 WAN issue


I have a Netgear Nighthawk M5 MR5200 (ip address that is working with the IP passthrough and it is connected to the WAN port of an Asus AX11000 (ip address I can access to both routers browser pages when the connection is working.


Everything is working but often (maybe every 1-2-3 days) happens that internet gets disconnected.

When this happens I cannot access to the Netgear Nighthawk page ( but I can only access to the Asus router page ( that is showing as WAN IP the address

If I unplug the RJ45 cable from the WAN port and plug again nothing changes.

The only thing I can do is restarting the Netgear Nighthawk and all start to work again.


Is this a software bug or a bad configuration?
