My M1 connects only to google.com
I'm stuck.
I've got a new M1 router with a T-Mobile SIM in Mexico. The SIM works here in a Jetpack hotspot. In the M1, connected via WiFi to either my laptop or my cellphone, I cannot reach any internet sites *except* google.com, which allows me to perform searches (i.e. not cached).
The only two things I've changed on the router are the admin password and enabling "allow roaming data".
During a couple of hours (!) on the phone with netgear support, we tried fiddling with the DNS server addresses, after which he pronounced the M1 defective and asked me to exchange it.
I brought this with me to Mexico, exchanging it is going to be costly in time and $, and I'd like to see if anyone here has any other ideas before I do so.
Regards,
Forrest
