Hello, I have question about Netgear Nighthawk M6 MR6110-111AUS. I see if it's have same frequency in indonesia Product Data Sheet MR6110-111AUS 5G Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 40, 41, 78 I'm planning to buy this model because in Indonesia 5G Bands Frequency is N1, N3 & N40. Will it work on indonesia?NBR 750 IPv6 please!!!!
I've been recommending the older LBR20 and the new NBR750 for clients who need a router for an LTE/5G connection in lieu of cable in the area. I've even been using an NBR 750 at home for a tester for about a year. I love the router but HATE how Netgear has hobbled ipv6 support for the wireless (LTE/5G) connection. It's baffling to me that the router supports WAN IPv6 connections if connected to an ethernet WAN link (cable/DSL/etc), but does not support it over the wireless connection, despite the router being capable of receiving an IPv6 address over the wireless connection. Why not allow the router to provide IPv6 addresses even if they are strictly link-local? Or better yet, why not allow the router to provide IPv6 addresses from the prefix delegated to it over the 5G/LTE connection? If you go into the Advanced/Advanced/Ethernet IPv6 in the configuration section for an NBR750 you get an error if you make any changes "FAILURE: No Ethernet Cable is plugged into the Router Internet Port." Can you please fix the firmware to enable IPv6 for users who are using this strictly as a LTE/5G router? Why hobble this? I've had to stop recommending these for clients and frankly have stopped all Netgear recommendations as the seeming arbitrariness of this (especially considering the importance of IPv6 support for things like gaming when having to deal with CGNAT) leads me to question just what Netgear is trying to do. Please fix this!nighthawk LAX20, how to connect to DSL?
considering a LAX20 cuz my rural ATT DSL is both slow & erratically drops out due to ATT line issues in bad weather ; question is how can i hook up the LAX20 WAN input to my DSL for routine use but have the cellular as backup (ATT cell tower is only 2 blocks away)What kind of ping can i expect from the M1?
TIdr: I am a soldier stationed in a major german city, we do have internet in the barracks which is acceptable in terms of speed but absolutely abysmal in terms of latency so ive been looking at the nighthawk m1 as a possible solution for a stable, low latency internet connection for some good ol counterstrike and whatnot. Now im pretty new to all of this stuff and im just wondering what exactly determines what kinda ping/ping and connection stability i can expect from this device? Ive seen some people pull of pretty impressively low values but am just unsure if ill be able to replicate these, thanks in advance 🙂SolvedMR1100-100NAS Doesn't Automatically Re-Connect to Internet After Being In Bad Signal Area
Hi. I have struggled with this since last year. This M1 hotspot works great other than the main issue I have had: Re-connecting to it and the M1 re-acquiring Internet access after being in a really bad signal area without having to manually reboot it. As you can see in the photo below, after the M1 hits very bad cell reception, it will eventually lose Internet access completely, making any devices connected to it say "connected without Internet." You can then go to a location that you know has good signal and it still will not re-connect to the Internet (cell connection) until you manually reboot it. After waiting 10-15mins to see if it would auto-reconnect, it would not. Then, as expected and like I've done many times before, I get the successful result in the photo below the second I reboot the hotspot: This has gone on for over a year, on two different M1 devices, on all the major carriers. It is a M1 issue. Please help or fix.LM1200 frequently loses WAN connection
I have an LM1200 between my broadband internet connection and Netgear Orbi. I intended to use the LM1200 as a 4G fallback for my internet. However, it looks like the LM1200 frequently drops the WAN connection (it appears that the WAN is working still but LM1200 stops giving access to it). Once the LM1200 drops the WAN line, the 4g does not cut over and teh Orbi gets no internet. The result is that I have a working WAN that my Orbi can't connect to. If i disconnect teh WAN cable, the 4g will cut in. I know the WAN is working because I can connect it to a computer or directly to the Orbi and it works fine. The result is that my LM1200 can't be trusted for more than a couple of hours. I am constntly touching it to fix this issue. I have set the LM1200 to ping every 10 minutes and this does not help. This looks like a firmware issue to me. The work-around is that I can simply disconnect the WAN, waiit for 4g cutover, and reconnect it and things seem to reset.
