Volume: Bit Rot heeft een fout gedetecteerd in /data/Klanten/..../... en kan de fout niet verhelpen
Hello I have a ready nas 102 that produced errors some weeks ago: " Toename geconstateerd van aantal ATA-fouten: [708] op schijf 1 (Internal) [TOSHIBA DT01ACA100, 43R5ULENS] 12 maal in de afgelopen 30 dagen. Dit duidt vaak op een op handen zijnde fout. Wees voorbereid op vervanging van deze schijf om gegevensredundantie te behouden." So I decided to replace the HD. I bought exactly the same HD (TOSHIBA DT01ACA100) and added it as extra disk, using RAID1. I installed the disk, but the system still gave the same error. Yesterday I replaced the original disk with a new one, and the synchronistion was well executed. Today I see that hundreds of files have the error "Bit Rot detected an error... and cannot correct the error.". The files can not be opened anymore. If it is a .jpg, my PC says somthing about incorrect format, if it is a pdf - adobe opens without file. I use firmware 6.8.1. (I did an upgrade before I started the whole proces). The system indicates everything is fine (disks are working properly - everything green). I took also a complete Backup. Is there something I can do? Thanks883Views0likes4Comments
