LB-1120 Bridgemode firmware Fix NEED UPDATE
Hi All NetGear posters with history of this model not working correctly for bridging function with original firmware. ***Need a heads-up*** now that Netgear Firmware fix has been available for a few months, can any of you comment on reliability of the fix? Also, if I were to purchase new LB-1120 SOON, to use in bridge configuration, does anyone know if factory firmware bridging fix actually went into production or should it be assumed that no new shipments have occurred? I need to implement remote viewing of small IP camera system located in rural area and already wasted 5 months on HughesNet satellite who is having severe difficulties in No. CA with one or more beams. I have finally resigned to fact that I have NO viable alternative except LTE mobile that will net me at least 2Mb upload to support remote camera viewing and can't make another bad decision(I hope?). Lastly, if Netgear can't tell me how I can reliably obtain new unit with GOOD firmware, how difficult is update process online? THX, Brookeville
