Not getting full bandwidth 300/20 on r7500v2
ISP- Time Warner Cable Speed - 300/20 Router - nighthawk x4 r7500v2 Firmwares I've tried - 10.0.24 - .28 I currently have the Arris DG1670A modem/router in BRIDGED mode and the nighthawk r7500v2 connected. When I test speeds in the QOS speedtest the highest is 124mb/s. I do speedtest on speedtest.net and it goes from 320 and drops to about 120-210mb/s. Same applies with speedOf.me speedtest and DSLreports. Then there are timessage where I only get about 15mb/s down but I have to keep rebooting or restoring to factory settings to get back to the higher speeds mentioned. I'm currently at a loss on what actually is the problem. I just bought the router two days ago. Yes, when I plug directly into modem I get full speeds even 320mb/s at times as well.Solved6.2KViews0likes7Comments
