Hi, So I have spent the last two hours researching any possible shred of help that might assist me in setting up a wi-fi hotspot with my newly bought AC210. Now I have tried updating windows. I have updated drivers, I have used the oldest drivers possible. Even going as far as to download the oldest Win 10 compatible genie and driver and seeing if that would work. And then updating to the latest drivers through THAT utility aswell. Upon investigation I have even found when I browse for drivers when I uncheck compatible hardware that I can find the driver for the virtual adapter, but obviously this wont install to my netgear adapter as they aren't compatible. I have also gone through command prompt as an administrator and through the netsh function tried to set up a hosted network with ssid and password (also when I went to show drivers it did say hosted network was supportted) which worked, but then when I went on to the next step of activating it it said the resource was not in the correct state to do it. I've already figured out what I need is the hosted network virtual adapter but it isn't there no matter what I do. And yes I clicked show hidden devices. It came up with two non-related drivers. Not the virtual adapter. Can anyone help me here? This is really bothering me that I've tried every single suggestion out there.1.9KViews0likes1Commentno drivers on downloadcenter

So, I have a Netgear WNDA3100v2 wireless adapter that I use as the primary wireless driver for my home PC. It's honestly been a pretty good card for the past year that I've had it. However, lately it will randomly stop working. It never did this in the past, but only started recently. Firstly, it will randomly stop detecting any and all access points or wireless networks (there are a few wireless networks I can pick up other than my own, but I have my network set to a unique channel), and I'll have to unplug it, then plug it back in. Secondly, it will work for anywhere between 1-2 weeks, and then it will just crap out, and I'll have to reinstall the driver. I usually have to restart my PC as well before I install the driver. I'll also have to get a fresh copy of the drivers (which I can do from my phone luckily) otherwise it won't work. I've tried using the adapter with and without a usb extension cord, and with multiple versions of the driver, but it always craps out after a week or two. I know this isn't a problem with the router, since my phone and macintosh have no issues with internet connectivity. I was wondering if this was a common problem with the adapter, and if there was anyway to fix it. Currently, I am running V2.2.0.3 of the driver for the adapter on Windows 8.1 Pro. If any additionaly specs or info are needed, I'd be more than happy to give them. Thanks for any help in advance :)4.2KViews0likes3Comments
