Verbindungsprobleme mit EX7000 als Access-Point
Hallo Ich habe hier ein EX7000 als AccessPoint laufen. Die Kabelverbindungen machen kein Problem, aber die Wlan-Zugänge hängen sich ständig auf. Ich kann mich dann nicht mehr Einloggen, Teilweise bleiben Geräte, die Verbunden sind im Wlan, teilweise werden Sie rausgekickt und ein erneutes Verbinden ist nicht möglich. Ich erhalte dann öfters die Meldung Passwort ungültig. Die Eingabe des (gültige) Passwortes bring aber auch keinen Erfolg. Wenn ich das Gerät aus- und wieder einschalte ist das Problem behoben, zumindest für einen Tag. Dann fängt das Spielchen von vorne an. Mittlerweile habe ich eine Zeitschaltuhr programmiert, die kurz den Strom unterbricht, das kann aber keine Dauerlösung sein. Hat jemand eine Idee? Neuste Firmware ist installiert. Buongiorno Community, ho un problema a connettere i dispositivi alla rete wifi (2,4 e 5 GHz) dell'extender EX7000 e vorrei chiedervi cortesemente un aiuto a rispolvere il problema. Ho installato l'EX7000 come extender, collegandolo al modem Tim Fibra (release AGVTF_5.3.3). Già da subito ho avuto problemi ad eseguire l'installazione, perché le porte ethernet non fornivano nessuna connessione, così, ho dovuto collegarmi con il canale wifi impostando sul computer un indirizzo IP statico . Dopo l'installazione ho avuto subito accesso ad internet, così ho subito eseguito l'aggiornamento del firmware da ver.1.0.0.50 a ver.1.0.0.58. Mi sono preso un rischio ad aggiornare via wifi, ma la procedura è andata a buon fine e le porte ethernet hanno preso a funzionare. Successivamente ho iniziato a collegare i vari dispositivi mobili al wifi, ma ho riscontrato che anche questi non riuscivano da ottenere l'indirizzo IP. Controllando sulla GUI dell'extender sono presentati gli indirizzi MAC dei dispositivi (è riportato anche un indirizzo MAC che non corrisponde a nessun dispositivo, e non c'è verso di rimuoverlo!), ma ad essi non viene associato un indirizzo IP, ad eccezione di alcuni che, dopo un lasso di tempo, venivano rimossi. Inizialmente avevo risolto impostando degli indirizzi IP statici a tutti i dispositivi, ma per quelli come il chromecast che lo ricevono solo dal server DHCP, non c'è stato nulla da fare. Ho iniziato così a controllare le impostazioni del modem, ma su questo non sono impostati filtri di alcun genere. Riavviando sia il medem sia l'extender sembrava che il problema fosse superato, ma non è stato così. Anche in questo caso, alcuni dispositivi non sono riusciti a connettersi, se non impostando nuovamente gli indirizzi IP statici. Alla fine ho contattato l'assistenza Netgear. Mi hanno suggerito di modificare le chiavi di cifratura e il canale di trasmissione, ma non c'è stata alcuna soluzione, neanche dopo altri riavvii degli apparati. Documentandomi nella Community in inglese, sembrerebbe che questi fatti siano dovuti ad una non completa compatibilità con il modem/router a causa della quale l'extender non trasferirebbe correttamente il protocollo DHCP e il DNS ai vari dispositivi. Questo avvalorato anche dal fatto cha alcuni dispositivi ricevevano un indirizzo IP completamente sbagliato. Volevo chiedervi cortesemente una conferma riguardo la compatibilità tra modem ed ectender, oppure, sapere se qualcuno ha già affrontato questo problema ed è riuscito a risolverlo in qualche modo. Sto cercando di estendere la mia rete domestica con un hard disk USB di Western Digital da 6TB, che ho collegato alla porta USB del Netgear EX7000 , che ho configurato in modalità Access Point (versione firmware V1.0.0.50_1.0.102). Il drive funziona correttamente con entrambi i miei pc desktop, che utilizzano Windows 10, mentre non riesco a montare il drive per utilizzarlo come spazio storage esterno del mio Nvidia Shield Tv box. Nei settaggi del mio Nvidia Shield il drive USB viene elencato come storage disponibile con il nome "Readyshare", ma quando provo a montarlo in modo da utilizzarlo con i miei file (ho provato sia come utente registrato sia come ospite) ottengo sempre in risposta un messaggio che dice che username e/o password non sono corretti. Il drive USB non è protetto da password, coem specificato nell'area amministrazione dell'EX7000,perciò ho provato a inserire diverse combinazioni di username e password standard, come admin/admin, admin/password, admin/1234 e anche le stesse credenziali che utilizzo per gestire l'EX7000, ma nessuna funziona. Ho anche cercato di trovare il modo di creare un account e una password ad hoc all'interno dell'area di gestione dell'EX7000, ma l'unica opzione disponibile sembra essere quella di proteggere con una password la lettura e/o la scrittura sul drive USB collegato, mentre non sembra esserci la possibilità di specificare lo username e la password da utilizzare, come sono riuscito a fare, per esempio, con il NAS WD BookLiveDuo, che funziona perfettamente con Nvidia Shield. Tra l'altro, attivando la protezione con password dell'hard disk collegato all'EX7000, il drive non è più accessibile dai miei pc desktop. Al momento, non ho idea di quali ulteriori tentativi potrei fare per cercare una soluzione al problema. Ogni suggerimento, quindi, sarà il benvenuto. Grazie in anticipo per l'aiuto. I've had an EX7000 AC1900 Extender/AP since the Fall of 2016, working very well with my Asus RT-N66R Router. Once in a great while, there would be a drop, but I was always able to reconnect. Today (10/18/17) I was having a problem in the room where the extender is located (far bedroom on single-level home). I connected an Ethernet cable between my laptop and the extender and requested the "mywifiext.net." The new "Genie" opened and immediately advised I needed a firmware update to v.1.0.0.50_1.0.102, so I proceeded with the upgrade and that's been the end of any dependable connection between the two. I've performed two complete resets on the Asus router and four on the Extender. Sometimes the wired connection between the laptop and extender worked, but the wireless failed. Then the wireless worked, however when I attempted to connect to the Extender's signals, I would repeatedly face a "incorrect password," error. Of course, I validated the passwords on both units multiple times and they are a match as well as verifying that I am correctly entering the password each and every time. Does anyone know if there is a problem with this version of the firmware? I'd really appreciate some positive advice (other than going out and buying a newer set!) Thanks!EX7000 Extender setup
This unit has worked fine for over a year. 2 weeks ago it stopped allowing ipad pro and samsung tab s10.5 to connect. The tried a couple more tablets but same and all them connect to other networks when taken offsite. They try to connect but says failed to obtain ip address. Tried going through resetting router a few times but to no avail. Had back up of router from when it worked ok but this also does not work either. My laptop with belkin dual band usb works fine. Also I go through set up and after setting up network name and security it fails to connect and then wont allow connection and displays message below on all devices. It not a WPA2 OR WEP issue as tried with no security and is the same. message below This site can’t be reached www.mywifiext.net refused to connect. Hello, I have a Nighthawk AC5300 (R8500) that I am extending with a Nighthawk AC1900 (EX7000) extender. This is working very well, but I want to push a signal further. I have a WN2500RP extender that I have configured, but the WN2500RP does not see the internet. Is this an IP conflict? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks for the guidance !EX7000 VPN Passthrough
I'm trying to get mystery DD-WRT router working as a VPN client with ExpressVPN, but not having success. Im trying to rule out the EX7000 extender that it is plugged into. (The EX7000 is hardwired to my Rogers CGN4 modem router in another room.) How can I confirm that VPN Passthrough is enabled on the EX7000? I can't find any options in the mywifiext.net interface. Hello Guys, i have a big issue with my Range Extender* ( EX7000). (I'm connected to the 2GEXT.) The problem is that my Labtop, Computer connects fine to the RE* ... but my other devices like my PS4, Iphone , IPad have Problems with the Connection. I solved the Problem on the I/phone/pad by typing the CLIENT-ID manually in the WLAN Settings from the RE. But on the PS4 i can't connect to the RE. I tested it via LAN and WLAN Connection.. FAILED.. But when i connect to the main WIFI Connection everything works fine.. Also tried to reset the RE Device.. same result. I also have Problems to connect on http://mywifiext.net/. My Internet explorer tells me ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT while i'm connected to the RE Device... Can anybody help me or have the same Problem with the RE EX7000 ? Thanks Rufii
