Just replaced my R8300 with the R9000 (V1.0.3.6) and also using EX7500 (V1.0.0.38). After bringing the EX7500 into the network many wireless devices frequently drop and re-add to the network (monitored in Netgear Genie), IP Addresses are frequently changed (using DHCP), the R9000 seems to forget many device types I previously updated (reported in Network Map), and the R9000 just does not seem to play well with the EX7500. Are there issues with compatibility? What suggestions do you have?2.1KViews0likes6CommentsEX7500 Configuration when Router does not support 5GHz
Just purchased my EX7500 and updated to the latest Firmware Version V1.0.0.38_1.0.54 My Cable Modem is a Netgear CG3000v2 which only support only 2.4GHz Wifi Issues : The Status Page shows the 2.4GHz has "(No Connection)" The Status Page shows there is no 5GHz on the Router side, but it shows connection to the EX7500 over the 5GHz channel ( ? does it transfer the 5GHz traffic to 2.4GHz traffic on the Router-to-Extender connection ? ) The Start Page shows the 5GHz channel's Connection Status is Disconnected If I disable the 5GHz channel on the EX7500, leaving only the 2.4GHz channel enabled, then all traffic stops, the EX7500 is non-responsive, and I need to do a Factory Reset and start again The display lights alternate a red light for 5GHz then 2.4GHz, then sometimes no 2.4GHz, although it still seems to operate --- there does not seem to be a strong correlation between the indicator lights and its operation.3KViews0likes11Comments
