GS110TPv2
2 TopicsRun Starlink WAN connection over Managed Switch
I have 2 GS110TPV3 managed switches connected via multimode fiber. They are passing LAN traffic fine. I have plugged in my Starlink Router to Port 1 on the first switch, and have plugged Port 1 of the second switch to the WAN connection on my Peplink Balance One router. The Starlink is not coming up on the Peplink router. I have created a VLAN 10 on both switches and assigned the VLAN to Port 1 on both switches, set to Trunking. When I connect the fiber using media converters vs switches, it runs fine. How do I isolate the Starlink WAN on the switches so that it runs just like it was on pt-pt media converters. Thanks!GS110TPv2
Good morning, I have a problem with logs on my GS110TPV2 device. When I run the "NETGEAR Switch Discovery Tool," a large number of entries appear in my switch logs that look like this: 11 May 26 11:21:57 192.168.2.239-1 UNKN[2176903268]: nsdp_control.c(1427) 946 %% nsdpRecvPduProcess : COMMAND TYPE(2): Wrong command received! Which service on the device does this relate to? How can I disable it? My other NetGear device models do not have this in the logs when scanning the network with the "NSDT" program.
