Hello, I recently purchased the Nighthawk M6 Pro MR6400 hotspot. Unlike the MR5200 and MR6500, it does not seem to want to power on without the battery connected when tethered to a PC. I checked all of the settings in all three hotspots and they are identical. The USB port is set to charging and tethering. The same exact PC and USB-C port on my PC works for the MR5200 and the MR6500, but will not work for the MR6400. Is there a way to bypass this? I have checked the power settings of the device and they appear to be identical. I am purposefully not installing the battery except for when I will be traveling with the device. Thanks!Nighthawk M1 battery charging problem
I have just bought a Netgear Nighthawk M1 through Telstra to enable working in the field. Plugged into the wallmount to charge and the battery seems to drain instead. It will only charge through USB which defeats the purpose of being completely mobile. There is a community discussion on this going back to 2014 but no obvious solution offered. Any suggestions?Netgear Nighthawk M1 Charging Issues
Hello, so I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 MR1100 Mobile Router for a while now. And I noticed a little issue with the charging, whenever I leave it charging overnight (while it’s at 13% of charge) and check back in the morning, it doesn’t charge as fast meaning it will be at about 24% after a day of charging. And this really annoys me because I always take my Mobile Router with me whenever I go outside, and it always runs out of battery because of this issue. Before you ask me these: 1- I cleaned the Gold contacts both on the battery and the device. 2- I soft restarted the device. 3- I took out the battery out of the device and waited for over 30 seconds. 4- The cable is not damaged nor the battery or the device it self. (I doubled checked).MR6150 - Cannot connect to 5G only bands
I recently upgraded the firmware on my Netgear M6 MR6150 and for some reason I have lost the ability to connect to only "5G" bands under CELLULAR > BAND REGION. I used to have this option before. Under Cellular now I only have 2 options, "4G" and "ALL (4G + 5G)". I already had the MR1100 and I bought the MR6150 specifically because of the 5G capabilities. Without having the ability to connect to 5G, this is a loss for me. I am now getting similar speeds to the MR1100 on my MR6150; and this makes no sense at all. The router keeps connecting to the 4G bands and I have no way to select only 5G bands. I used to have this ability before and now with the latest firmware, the option disappeared. I paid over $600+ for this device. I am on the latest firmware NTGX65_12.01.47.00. Can someone please help me or guide me on how do I get the "5G" only band selection under CELLULAR Attaching image as wellSolvedDead Netgear Nighthawk MR6550 (AXE3600)
We purchased the MR6500 Nighthawk in August 2023. 1 Year warranty is expired and device is dead. Will not charge or turn on. Have tried multiple USB cords and charging ports. THe product just seemed to die overnight (we had it plugged in to charge, it was dead in the morning) "He's dead, Jim", for you trekies. I'd like to see if this $1K device is repairable, but the only option to contact Netgear support is to purchase a $99 support? When I don't even know if it can be repaired? I'd appreciate any advice! Thank you!SolvedExplore models of Cell Service Mobile Hotspot Modems, AirCards, & Mobile Routers

MR6110-1A1NAS. HW Version 1.0 FW Version NTGX65_10.01.22.01 All cellular devices in my household recognize the 5G cellular network. My Nighthawk M6 will not allow the 5G settings for the APN. It acts like there are too many characters. The 5G APN is ATT NR Broadband, it will stop at Broadban. I've tried no spaces, still no luck. I've reset, done a hard reset, removed and reinstalled SIM card. The SIM was previously in an M1 but ATT recognizes the M6 as a 5G device in my devices.SolvedHelp! M6 Hardware or Setting Problem?
Hi! I recently got an unlocked M6 via Amazon Renewed (MR6110). I have a T-mobile BYOD plan, and I checked the IMEI number with the t-mobile website, which shows no issues. When I put in my sim card, it just says "searching." It shows the device info and the number and all that, but it can't find the network. At first, the M6 was saying it's connected to the Verizon network, but it wouldn't connect to T-mobile at all. After calling support at t-mobile, I added the APN settings to match my current router. It's weird: my current router works just fine with the sim card, t-mobile says that there are no issues on their end. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong or how to troubleshoot this? I do know that the firmware is out of date on this router... but I can't update it without internet.... Any ideas??? T-Mobile suggested that it's a hardware problem, but no one can describe WHY the hardware would be bad... and I don't want to try to return and get another router unless I have some hope that a new one might actually work! Thanks for your help!LB1120 ARP Flooding
I have several LB1120s and on my network I have two IP ranges. The LB1120 is set to 192.168.3.XX and the other network is 192.168.1.XX. The LB1120 fills up the ARP cache i almost immediately with its own mac address in the 192.168.1.XX subnet before the actual devices on the network even have a chance to respond. How do I stop this from happening. I need to perform network scans to confirm which IP addresses are actually active.
