MySQL
2 TopicsNeed a MySQL my.cnf from a working OS6 install
TL;DR I updated my MySQL from 5.5 to 5.6 and did not backup the my.cnf file in /etc/mysql/ before it removed 5.5 for the package. Now, I am getting startup errors and I want to make sure it has the same defaults (the tweeks I can redo) w/o botching things up more. I have tried to find any online but to no avail. Any help with one from a 5.5 install would be appreciated. Thank you, NetWhizSolved367Views0likes3CommentsGetting mysql running on my NAS
Hi- i am trying to get mysql working on my NAS. I've looked at a number of posts on the forum, and have installed 'mysqlon' for my NAS, but this doesn't seem to have resulted in a working system. When I SSH and check the /etc/init.d/mysql status it is stated as not running. Starting results in an error. There is a mess of info on the forums in search, but they are all hitting old pages which no longer seem to work. Help please- how can i get mysql wokring on my NAS?764Views0likes1Comment
