Hello, all. A few months back I purchased a unlimited data plan with at&t along with this hotspot in order to game on the Xbox One with it. So, I get on Xbox to find that I have a Strict NAT. I know many here would automatically point me towards a beginners guide on port forwarding but, that's my problem. I did that. I port forwarded everything it asked me to, I tried it both with a static IP and without a static IP. I reset my Xbox time and time again along with clearing the MAC address (After every change to the settings I the modem I made, I reset my Xbox and made sure to unplug it for at least a minute and drain the power block). Hell, I even tried to enable DMZ, knowing that it was dangerous and it STILL didn't open my NAT. My model of nighthawk has UPnP, but that doesn't work either for some reason. In the network settings of the Xbox it says the following: IPv4 NAT Type: Strict UPnP not successful xbox.com/xboxone/UPnP All services are available. I went to the link provided here and tried their method to make UPnP work. It didn't. I attached a screenshot of my attwifimanager page show what I did to port forward (I blocked out my static IP because I didn't know if it would be safe to share here) I would be grateful to anyone who could give me a STEP BY STEP for this model/at&t solution. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong because I've been trying to fix this for months.Port Passthrough to DrayTek
Hi Guys, I may be hounded from here for the very mention of a different brand however I am in need of som knowledgable help. We have an office that has just been setup in Qatar and we were told things that didnt turn out exactly as planned. The end result is that we have the Netgear router that will not seem to let us pass through the WAN IP to the DrayTek router. What we are looking to do is allow a true DMZ as such instead of the transformed passthrough we currently get (port remapping). Anyone on here managed to do this?Static IP Address and NAT for internet printing
I'm actually asking about an 815S for AT&T, but anyway, I'm the I. T. manager of a company and I have an employee with one of these air cards at home. She wants to work from home, the only problem is that for her to be able to print from our back end system to one of her printers at home, she needs a static IP address and I need to be able to set up NAT to direct the print jobs to her printer. I don't think that this AirCard can do that. Just to break this down to its simplest terms, I want to be able to send a print job to a static IP attached to this AirCard, then forward that print job to the printer's internal IP, which happens to be 192.168.1.212. If anyone has any ideas on how I can do this, even if it means some other kind of equipment, I would appreciate it. I'm fine with her working at home and I'll pay for whatever she needs, but I don't think the AirCard 815S can do it. She's running Windows 10. Many thanks, Steve Young
