RAIDiator 4.2.27
1 TopicAre 4TB disks supported on the ReadyNAS PRO 2?
Hi, I'm looking at upgrading the capacity of a ReadyNAS Pro 2 box to two 4TB disks. The box is running RAIDiator 4.2.27 (an upgrade to 4.2.28 is planned as well). Checking the HCL (http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20641) I see 3TB and 4TB disks are supported. However, the release notes for 4.2.27 (and 28) state "Maximum 2TB drive support on 3200/4200 V1 channels 5-12 due to LSI controller limitation.". What does this mean? That we can insert the 4TB disks but only 2TB would be used? Please advise. Thanks! P.Solved
