RBR50 Set up Smart outlets
I can really mess things up because I know just enought to be very dangerous when making changes to my router and network. I am trying to set up ETEKCITY Smart Wi-Fi Outlets. I have downloaded the VeSync app, but when I try to add a device i get an error "Please switch your devices WiFi connection to 2.4G." In my wifi settings on my computer this is the "Network band: 5 GHz" How do I get my network to recognize the 2.4GHz? When I log into my router there appears to be other devices that have a 2.4G connection type. My phone will only connect to a 5G connection type do I need to set up another connection type. Simple step by step insturctions are needed, I do not know how to make changes that are directed in other post. Thank you!!
