ReadyNAS
The requested resource does not exist. Suggesties voor een oplossing??Solved - Kernel Panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown block (2,0)
This error appeared after replacing the RAM module and after a clean sutdown. The normal procedures for recovery didn't work. The RN312 doesn't have a display, but the corresponding lights to recover didn't even light up. Connected the RN312 to a monitor (HDMI) and concluded the installed RAM was supported. Therefore I assume the the factory boot image (DOM?) seemed to be damaged. Tried to use the Netgear os6-recovery-tool-v2.0.r17. Don't forget to put your corresponding firmware download into the corresponding subfolder of the unpacked recovery tool before using it, in my case the x86 folder. This is not in the manual! After trying 4 USB sticks (4 Gb and 8 Gb) with the recovery tool, the ReadyNAS refused to boot with neither of the sticks. Contacted support, they had no solution. Then I took the oldest USB stick I had, 2 Gb. The fifth one. And guess? The RN312 booted form that old, crappy USB stick, and I got my NAS back. I guess this problems and solvation goes also for the other RN312 models, but also for the RN2xx and 4xx models. Conclusion 1: Netgear can get instable by increasing RAM. Always back-up!!! Conclusion 2: I suppose that Netgear NAS systems are very picky about the used USB sticks. This is a real problem in case you are getting the same error/ same problem I got. An HDMI connector or at least a display is recommended to solve these kind of problems. Hope you can use this thread. Why does giving a user access by email adres to a shared folder in the readycloud by means of the following instructions not work anymore. Model RN10200 firmware 6.10.3 https://kb.netgear.com/24929/How-do-I-use-ReadyCLOUD-to-allow-or-remove-share-access-for-remote-users https://kb.netgear.com/23790/How-do-I-set-the-ReadyCLOUD-access-rights-for-a-shared-folder-on-my-ReadyNAS-OS-6RNDP6000-200 fails to start
Hi Fellows, My ReadyNas has served me for many years however, yesterday after a powerfailure, the system did not start up automatically and whatever I do I cannot get it booted. The network lights on the back are flashing but nothing else seems to work. Does anybody has any idea what I can do? Thanks for your help Gert-JanRN314 Connection lost V6.10.1
RN314 Connection lost Hello, can anybody help me with the next problem. We have a readynas 314 which works fine. We can acces the drive and is fast. Somethimes the connection is lost, we can't acces it with the explorer and/or finder. I can acces the NAS via the internet (the web portal). We also can ping the NAS server and it responds. For me this underlines that the NAS is still online but some how we can't reacht it. FYI: - We are using 2xWindows 10 pro and also 1x Mac (Mojave, we also had the problem when didn't use the MAC). - The connection is hardwirred -The firmware is up to date - The file search option is selected. - We can ping the server when we can't reach the drive with the explorer. - The SMB protocol is selected for the shares - There is enough free disk space. - The temparture is normal (about 43 degrees) - There isn't a lot of network activity (almost nothing / average 20.2k) - On the drive are pdf's/word doc's etc storred (no movie and/or big filles). In the past we had the same problem bus that was with version 6.9.4 hotfix 1. We downgrad the system to 6.9.3 and then the problem was soveled. Later we installed the "big" update V6.10.1 and now the problem is back again. Unfortunatly we can't downgrade it anymore to version 6.9.3. Has anybody got simailar problems and/or has an idea how to fix this? I'm also thinking of buying a new NAS server due the fact it's becomming a issue for our business. Does anybody know if the RN42400 has got the same issue?? Thanks in advance.Chrome-fout NET: ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
