It would be helpful if the PR60X monitoring interface(s) included resource usage for CPU and RAM. For both the web based UI and Insight App/Portal it could be included on the Dashboard along with internal temperature and fan speed. The use of color (as with internal temperature) would improve visual recognition of condition. SMB and MSP customers with extensive SNMP deployments might find these values useful in a MIB.32Views1like0CommentsPR60X provide "Secure DNS" proxy for attached LAN devices
Secure DNS is becoming one of the top privacy concerns for consumers. Trusting your ISP DHCP provided DNS severs is well, unhealthy. Providing a "Secure DNS" proxy on the PR60X would offer consumers an improvement for privacy. The PR60X should identify "clear text" DNS requests from LAN attached devices Convert the request to "Secure DNS" of the consumers protocol of choice (DoH/DoT/DoQ) and resolver of choice (Google/OpenDNS/CtrlD/Etc.). Forward the converted request to the WAN. Convert the "Secure DNS" WAN response to "clear text" response. Return the "clear text" response to the LAN attached requestor. This could certainly elevate the PR60X as desirable choice for many MSP/SMB/etc. Certainly much less expensive alternative than a setting up redundant PiHole servers!13Views0likes0CommentsTrue DNS over TLS support for PR60X
Companies like AdGuard, NextDNS, Control D, etc. use a unique identifier address (like tls://123456789.d.adguard-dns.com) to distinguish a user's particular account and allow them to filter DNS according to the user's account settings/rules at the router or device level. The PR60X does not support entering a custom DoT-specific address to accomplish this. Thus, it seems like the only way to do DNS filtering is through generic DNS IP addresses for each WAN (IPv4 settings section). That isn't really DoT so it seems like the PR60X isn't really doing anything when "Secure DNS" is selected and a DNS provider is selected from the drop down. Maybe it is just kindly passing through device level DoT? But I didn't buy this semi-expensive router to still have to enable device level TLS on each device. Kind of misleading and a little sketchy if you ask me. Could you add the support for the custom DoT-specific address to enable DoT at the router level (as opposed to device level)?73Views3likes1CommentPR60X and PR460X enable LAN4 (SFP+ Port) as WAN Port
Here in Switzerland, basically every Home has direct 10Gbit Fibre to Home. Some Providers allow to use our own Routers (Init7), some maybe are interested in a co-orperation: Salt, Sunrise, Swisscom, UPC If you would enable LAN4 Port, which is a 10Gbit SFP+ Port, as WAN, we would all spare us Mediaconverters from Fibre to 10Gbase-T So please consider releasing an alternative Firmware (or general firmware) to select and use LAN4 as WAN Port. Also consider to contact Swiss Internet Providers, they need good User managable Router Solutons. Market is dim here. Thanks!!!1.6KViews6likes1CommentWireguard for AX1800 WiFi Router (R6700AX)
Although the AX18000 has VPN support for Pure VPN, how about adding OpenVPN and Wireguard VPN support ? I've had the router for 20 days, I'm content with it's functionality on the whole. That said, I had some issues with the setup due to the device wanting to do the setup on it's own. I'm a network engineer and would prefer a command shell from which to set things up. Preferences aside, it's doing the job quite well at this point. Thanks, and looking forward to your reply. Jeff-5.2KViews0likes5CommentsURL FILTERING WITH WEBSITE CATEGORIES FOR WEBSITE BLOCKING

This router does not have URL filtering option due to which my bandwith usage by my users icreases heavily as they use unnecessary websites. Please add this feature in order to resolve the issue.431Views0likes1CommentGibabit Router with bandwidth control, logging features, startpage (to accecpt terms of conditions)
I am looking for a router which I will use in a hotel environment. We have a 200MBit connection, so it shouldn't be a 100MBit router. We want to connect several (~5) wifi access points to provide Internet to our guests. Every guest has to accept our terms of condition before he can use the Internet. Every connection should be logged within a logfile with date, time and the MAC addresses. Furthermore we want to limit the bandwidth of every device (for instance 3Mbit) Do you have a router which fits this requirements?20KViews0likes3Comments
