Hello, I tried to change my email account registered to my RAX45, but I was distracted and made a domain error or a typo on the new email and now I can't access my account and my router Anywhere feature because of that mistake. I try to contact Support, but they seems to ignore my requests or they simply point me to the community discussion. I can't do anything to recover my account if some support is able to revert my email change. Can anyone help?Solved2.5KViews0likes8CommentsAX1800 RAX10 - Constantly disconnecting and slower speeds
After having the same wi-fi router for several years, I recently upgraded to the AX1800 RAX10. It was working very well for the first two months. It is now disconnecting quite a bit and requiring a reboot many times a day. I spoke with Netgear's customer service and they said I was under a Dos attack. Spectrum suggested to swap out the modem in order to change the IP address. The same problem happened again and I was told to change the network channels. That didn't help. I thought this problem might have something to do with the expiration of the Armor software so I paid for a subscription. I have seen some improvement, but it's nothing like the first two months of speed and consistency. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!RAX30 WPA3 Google Nest MIni G2 Cant Connect
Hi all, I have the RAX30 Nighthawk Router. Have had a few quirks with it, which I think I have ironed out now. I am currently running my WIFI network as 2 seperate networks. One on 2.4Ghz with an SSID and also the 5Ghz one on another SSID. I am currently running WPA2-PSK[AES] for the security. I would like to take it to WPA3-PSK + WPA2-PSK [AES] but when I have that encryption enabled I cannot get the Google Nest Mini Gen 2's I have to connect to the WIFI at all. I have tried multiple combinations of encryption and seperate bands or with SMART CONNECT without sucess. My smart light bulbs appear to have no issue connecting to the WPA3 and with SMART CONNECT enabled. What are peoples experiences with the NightHawk RAX30 and Google Devices? Thanks in advance. Hello, Have a Nighthawk RAX20 WiFi router. Recently I set up ReadyShare just for testing purposes by plugging in a 128GB USB Thumb Drive. I eventually want to add a USB powered hard drive for a more permanent solution. I successfully set up the drive and copied quite a number of files to it. I was able to set up a mapping like this from the cmd prompt in Windows 10: net use u: \\readyshare\USB_Storage I think the first time I used this I was prompted for the user name and password, which is the router login/password. After that, I was able to use drive letter access to copy files from the Windows explorer. At some point recently, I rebooted the RAX20. After that, the drive letter access was lost. I tried to remap the drive using the same "net use...." command. I used the same user name and password that I did before. I get a system error 86 message: The specified network password is not correct. I went back into the router admin web page and unchecked "require password". It still gives the same error message. I don't need to reboot to reflect this change, do I? I havent tried that yet, but I thought changes made to the router were immediate in cases like this. Here is the information reported by the admin web page: AX1800 (RAX20) Firmware Version V1.0.11.112_2.0.77 Again, I'm using Microsoft Windows 10 Home: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19045.2364] Funny thing also is that I can access the files in another way by using a URL: http://readyshare.routerlogin.net/shares/USB_Storage/ Does anyone know of a way to fix this drive mapping issue so that I can use letters to access the drive once again? Thanks, MikeIs the Wifi 6E support team alive?
I have spent four hours on hold for the team that supports the 6E wifi routers. Nobody on other support teams can tell me how long their wait time is - or if they are answering their phone at all. I am concerned that this team might be MIA. Did everyone quit? Was there a natural disaster? Perhaps their internet has been down for days? I hope someone at Netgear can find a way to reach them to see if they are all OK. It is very concerning for a company to lose all contact with one of their departments for days on end.Security Setup for new Nighthawk AX4200
Hola Everyone, I am RLMsDumbLovr22 (Rebecca Lynn Millwards Dumb Lover). I am in need of some assistance in securing my new Nighthawk AX4200. Just purchased this a few weeks back. I am using it for work and need it secured. My wife and I had a different Netgear product, but that product is flawed and cheated too many times to forgive or redeem itself. There seems to be an obvious pattern of the product cheating while out of town and can. It's repetitive issue dates back even before the 2015 Ashley Madison leak, in which it was involved in. Everything/Everyone has flaws but, the worst part is this particular item won't admit its mistakes. I admit I have made mistakes and am flawed as well, but I am still wanting restoration. It took a little time and some professional help from alot of people who care too much to watch me blindly be #2, but the proof is there. Now this original product (est April 2011) changes identities online often as well as physical appearance in hopes of successfully deceiving. I would attach a picture of the original product, but I'm afraid it wouldn't help because it changed appearance often, in an attempt to throw off its scent to anyone looking for answers. Who would like to help out? Thanks #enjoy🖤RAX80 loses changes to connected device configurations
I change type of device, model of the device, and name of the device for my connected devices and then apply my changes. (I apply after each device) and the changes appear to take affect. I can refresh tyhe page and see my changes but if I log out and back i again or simly change to another management page and then come back to the device configuration page and all (to most) of the changes I made will be gone. All the devices will agin be set to the default "network device" and the device tyoe will be gone. sometimes a device name or typoe will persist but it may only persist fr a ltittle while . Come back again later and it will probably be gone.Betting thre is a formatting issue with whatever mu language is beingh used to save the configuration information that is the app to eithre not be able to read what is saved, or not save the configuration info but either way this is a deal braker for me. It is bad enough that the only ACLs I seem to be able to configure for an attached storage device is admiin or everyone because there is no way to add additional useres and grant them access to secific devices but not being able to save simple configuratin data is beyond rediculous which makes me question the quality of the prodict in general. I am really hoping someone can tell me how to fix both of these issues so I do not have to biox this thng up and tak it back. Other info: I have tried to update the firmware but there is not a new one available (currently at V1.0.1.56_1.0.23) I have used Chrome 74.0.3729.131, IE 11.147.17763.0, and Firefox 66.0 (64-bit) and I have the same issue with each Any hek would be greatly appreciated.
