Ipad 2 streaming via readycloud or itunes
Hello - I am a novice with 4 bay readynas. I'm trying to stream music online away from my home - I have used the readycloud app but it only seems to play one song at a time - not running from one to the next - is there any way of changing this? Alternatively is there a way of access the music via itunes / music on the Ipad remotely? I have seen some reference to using things like 8player but it seems that I have to create a VPN, which I have no idea if this is definitely necessary or how to approach. media not showing up properly on Fire TV or Windows 8.1
When I access my RN104 on readycloud all of the movies and music I've added show up properly. However, when I try to do the same in File Explorer in Windows 8.1 two of the seven movies I've added so far aren't there (all of the movies are mp4's that were encoded the same way). When I try to load video files in Kodi on my Amazon Fire TV my music loads instead. Hi, I am a newbie and not very technology savvy, am trying to stream videos from my readynas 4 bay to iPad via 3G. I've tried the readycloud and readyDLNA but it just stalls before the video ever starts. Plex doesn't seem to be bale to play most of the videos, saying they are unplayable, whilst I'm not clear how I set up 8player to remotely access my NAS.
