USB drives not recognised unless ReadyNAS 102 is rebooted with Firmware 6.9.2
This problem with USB drives (used for backing up the NAS Drive) not being recognised, unless the NAS is rebooted was a problem about 1-2 years ago until a firmware update finally fixed it. Now I see this dreadful proiblem is back with firmware 6.9.2 which I installed on 3x of my sites some weeks ago. I see there is a new 6.9.3 version available, but the UI in these 2x NAS drives state that 6.9.2 is the latest. This is a major issue that I sure hope has been recognised and fixed? Where do we go from here? I really can't ask clients to reboot their NAS every time a USB drive is attached. USB drives are Seagate or WD, and between 2 and 4TB.921Views0likes4Comments
