1 TopicUSB Passport Ultra not seen by ReadyNas 10200
Readynas 102 2 drive unit. Following is a reconstruction. Connected Passport Ultra #1 to backup up ready nas on rear upper port. Formatted EX4. Back up completed with automatic dismount. Reconnected and verified that back up was perfect. Connected Passport Ultra #2 to ready nas on rear upper port. Formatted EX4. Same backup job with automatic dismount. Reconnected and backup perfect. Ejected. Reconnected Passport Ultra #1, and it could not be found. Reformatted #1 to NTFS. Could not be found. Turned of Nas, turned back on, it found the drive. took out drive, reformatted again, connected it to back, Nas could not find it. Connected it to front, unable to find it. Reformatted in computer as NTFS again, turned of Nas, connected it to front, turned it on. Found it. Completed backup job. The job took all night, and never really finished as it hung half way through. Reformatted drive NTFS on computer. Turned off Nas, reconnected drive back, turned on nas. Unable to find drive. Repeat for every port. Reset back up to back up to the back upper, turned off Nas, turned on again, unable to find. I've tried every combination of reformating, resetting turning off and on, different USB ports that I can think of, and the Nas cannot find the USB drive. All software is up to date. RN 10200 Firmware 6.6.0 Just downloaded Raidar for Windows from the Netgear 102 site. Without any dramatics, I might point out that this seems unreliable. Any advice is useful. Thanks.Solved2.4KViews0likes6Comments
