WAN LAN Ethernet WIFI Extender
1 TopicEthernet Connected Wireless Extender
Hello, I am trying to find some info/recommendations on how to extend the wireless coverage in my house. I have a Netgear N150 wireless modem/router set up at one end of the house, and the signal is very weak at the other end of the house. The kitchen and appiances are inbetween these 2 points and I believe that it may be blocking my signal a bit. I have ethernet running throughout my house and have an available port where the wireless signal is weak so I would like a wireless repeater/extender that can get the netwrok from an ethernet connection and then deliver wireless access to both WAN and LAN. A few months ago I bought a Netgear N300 modem/router thinking that I could just plug it in via ethernet and it would do all I want, but have since discovered that doing this I could only get LAN or WAN but not both. I want to avoid purchasing something that wont do what I want a second time. I thought I might have found the right device when I saw the Netgear EX6200 AC1200 Dual Band WIFI Range Extender but after looking at the manual online, it said that it wont work connected to an exsisting WIFI enabled modem. Can anyone help me choose a product that will best suit my needs? Thanks, Peter6.5KViews0likes3Comments
