Installation of WN3000RP Using Ethernet Cable
My router N900 router is installed in the basement. Signal is too weak to cover the entire house. I need to install the range extender on the second floor as placing the extender on the first floor provides unreliable coverage. My home is wired with standard ethernet cables and standard RJ interfcaes whereby wired internet access is available almost everwhere. Question: Is it possible to connect the extender to the router through exiting cables to provide reliable wireless connection on the secound floor using the extender. Is this possible. If yes, what do i need to do? if not, then are other models available that can support this wired connection?
