1 TopicUnable to uninstall WNA3100M on Windows Vista
I have contacted Netgear support but they are unable to help me because my product is more than 3 months old so I'm hoping someone here can help. I recently started having an issue with a message appearing saying that 'Wifi service has stopped working', and the connection to my network dropped. I have checked for updated drivers and that's all up to date, and some further investigation seems to indicate that the likeliest way to solve the problem is to uninstall and reinstall the software. However, following all the instructions I can find, including the product manual itself, simply results in a box appearing with a big red cross in it and the program will not uninstall. I have tried going to the program files folder and deleting files directly from there and that doesn't work either. I am completely stumped now as to what to do or how to solve this issue. I'm not terribly techy so if some kind soul knows how I can get to the bottom of this problem I'd be extremely grateful. Failing that I guess the only other solution is to pay for Netgear support, which seems a bit rich as it's their software that's causing me the problem. If more technical information is needed please let me know and I'll do my best to provide it. Really hope someone can help me out. Thanks dadathome9KViews0likes9Comments
