Router won't connect to powerline network
Hi I am new here and pretty dumb so be kind to me. I have an existing Netgear AV500 (XAVB5101-100AU) Powerline network which has been operating very well for about 2 years it was connected to a Belkin N1 Modem/Router... The Belkin failed and I got out a Dual Band Netgear N600 Modem Router (DGN3700v2). which I had lying around... Set up Internet and WiFi which worked fine with my laptop, Phone and Tablet BUT will NOT connect to the Powerline network... All the LEDs on the Powerline and M Router are normal ... You won't beleive it but there is no clue in either the Router or Powerline Manuals about connecting together .. I thought (and I could be completely wrong) that Network devices just plugged into each other using network cables and off you go ..... Very strange .. Please help .. Thanks Jim
