Hi Netgear Team and Community, Thank you for your excellent products and support. I am currently using the AXE3000 (A8000) WiFi 6E USB adapter and would like to ask for your assistance with an issue I am experiencing. In my setup, the access point/router broadcasts both a 2.4 GHz SSID and a 6 GHz SSID. When the 6 GHz radio is configured to use Channel 1 (5955 MHz), the AXE3000 (A8000) is unable to detect the 6 GHz SSID. However, another WiFi 6E adapter, the TP-Link AXE5400, can successfully discover the SSID and connect without any issues. In the same environment, if I change the 6 GHz channel to Channel 9 (5995 MHz), the AXE3000 (A8000) is able to detect the 6 GHz SSID and connect successfully. How can I connect the 6GHz Wi-Fi on channel 1 (5955 MHz) using the AXE3000 (A8000)? Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. Before anyone says, I have tried many different ports (including USB 3.0 ports) with both the stand thing and the actual adapter alone and for some reason, even though I hear the notification of a device being added, and I can see the netgear thing in my wifi settings (and yes it's on), the light is still off and Im only getting about 40 mbps download (I was at like 200-300 before). I checked the drivers and im still on the latest one. I've reset my computer multiple times. I noticed it not working yesterday evening and no matter what I try, nothing seems to change. I would contact support but since I bought the device last august, it'd be cheaper to buy a new one than get technical support. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I don't think it's bricked or anything but I don't see what else I can do.636Views0likes1Comment
