I am running Firmware version 6.6.1 for weeks with no issues. Now I cannot access the ReadyCloud home page (the NAS icon is grayed out) and NAS says offline. The NAS is actually running, connected properly as I have not changed anything. I rebooted router and NAS. Running Windows10 and it sees the NAS but cannot access, it will not accept my password, however I can access the admin page via discover on ReadyCloud. Also ran RAIDar and everything says healthy. I don't understand how this occurred or how to fix since I did nothing to provoke this.Solved1.1KViews0likes1CommentError Messages

I know this is quite an old system (purchased 2011) - but the optimist in me says that means everything has been fixed more than once right? After moving house it has took me a while to ge this unpacked and attached to the network. It does not have a UPS attached and I think must have suffered a power outage, as I now cannot access the admin page. I can still see the unit on RAIDar and the disks are showing heathly. I can still browse to the shares, alhough most of the data has gone. For this model, I think there are only two boot modes - hold reset for 10s - OS Relaod; hold for 30s - factory default. I have tried both multiple times (with both disk lights flashing as they are supposed to), but without success. The factory default is not removing the shares or resetting admin password (neither original PW or admin & admin works). Accessing through MS Edge or Internet Explorer, on a Win 10 machine. Any other ideas or suggestions?Solved4.4KViews0likes7CommentsWebb interface does not work in chrome

When connecting to my OS 6.5 ReadyNAS 314 from OS X 10.11.5 (with all latest updates) via user "admin" I'm seeing additional shares visble depending on if I'm connecting with AFP or SMB. These are shares that aren't even listed in FrontView -> Shares. Specifically via SMB I see a share for /data - the root of all shares and for /home the root of all home folders, even though neither of these are listed in FrontView -> Shares. Why is this? How can I control the shares that user admin can see via SMB?Solved2.8KViews0likes4CommentsReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline
Hi all, Unfortunately, my ReadyNAS (OS 6.2.4) has been troubled for quite some time. I'm not able to connect to the admin page of the NAS within a couple of days after a device reset. When I reset the device (readynas 2 ultra legacy) it will work fine, but within a few days the admin page will go offline and will not return until the device is reset again. Trying to access the admin page will get a "Connecting to ReadyNAS Admin Page" which results in "ReadyNAS Admin page is offline". A number of things I tried to fix it: - Disabling anti-virus - Disabling MySQL - Disabling snapshots - Disabling most apps - Trying different internet browsers and incognito mode to check cache issues With Raidar, I'm able to see the device, but the overview screen will say: "Status: Management service is offline". All shares and apps are also working and I'm able to open them as well so it's just the admin page that is offline. So far I have been unable to fix this, but it's been like this for quite some months now :( Please help! If needed I'm able to send logs.Solved11KViews0likes14Comments
