Antivirus scanner found a threat (Html.Phishing.Auction-213) in the file /ReadyNAS/.timemachine/ReadyNAS/Joe’s MacBook Pro.sparsebundle/bands/3f77. Please delete the infected file soon. My ReadyNAS 212 firmware is UTD My MacBookPro (2016) is UTD My R8500 Router is UTD I sent my Mac in for battery repair. As far as I know they did not reformat. All files and EVEN my bootup login still has my ReadyNAS share folder loading. So I doubt they reinstalled. My ReadyNAS Antivirus has NEVER found any threat the year I've had it. I'm not a gamer nor music downloading person. I'm a Office 365 wordproscessor person, Facebook, Amazon/Ebay, Lite web surfing. SO I never get viruses (even on Windows) I save EVERYTHING on my ReadyNAS. Even my iTunes working folders is set to ReadyNAS. I'm not sure why I'm getting this. 2 days ago I deleted the Bands/3177 file in ReadyN/AS Time Machine. I CAN NOT find the file in my MacBook. SO I'm thinking Timemachine created this file ( but I've used the ReadyNAS Time Machine every since I bought the ReadyNAS. ?? ?? BTW.. there's instructions that Netgear built the Virus program into ReadyNAS, for us to download AntiVirus PLUS in apps. There is no AntiVirus Plus available.. SO, How do we get into the Program itself to Delete, or change settings ??Solved3.8KViews0likes4CommentsAnti-Virus Update Breaks Tivo DLNA Server
I was able to view pictures from my NAS through my Tivo last night, but this morning could not. The only thing that had changed in those few hours was an update to the virus definitions. When I turn real-time anti-virus protection off, I am able to view photos through the Tivo. I suspect something in the anti-virus update broke the Tivo server function. I can't post a bug report because my unit is more than 90 days old. Any help would be appreciated.Solved2.7KViews0likes2Comments
