Seagate ST4000VN000 new version
I have a legacy Business Pro ReadyNas that is still working. I want to replace a 3GTB drive with a 4TB drive. There are only three items on the legacy approved list: Seagate, HGST and WD. In the past I've had problems with the WD Reds as well as the HGSTs. The Seagate is the ST4000VN000, but it is no longer a current Seagate model. Has anyone used another 4TB Seagate NAS/Enterprise drive in an old Business Pro? Worked OK? Suggestions? Thank you in advance.
