hi, I've a: Model: ReadyNAS Pro 6 [X-RAID2] Serial: 2H051BRJ00207 Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.27 our network people did a security scan and reported that: "According to its version, the remote Unix operating system is obsolete and is no longer maintained by its vendor or provider. Lack of support implies that no new security patches for the product will be released by the vendor. As a result, it is likely to contain security vulnerabilities." I'm curious to know if any update in the works. thanks, -robert15KViews0likes2CommentsOS reinstall

Did the latest firmware update, ReadyNAS DUO V2, and it is stuck (two days) sitting at 100% of the scandisk cycle after the restart. Disconnected network cable and tried to reset the interface (back panel push button) and neither has any affect or reaction whatsoever. Question - if I power the unit down (can't seem to shut it down nicely from power button on front) will that create more problems? Question - can I put the disk drives in another DUO V2 to verify that the data is still valid?13KViews0likes1Comment
