bridge
2 TopicsWAC104 used as a bridge disconnects
I have a pair of WAC104 Wireless Access Points providing a 5GHz bridge from my VDSL modem to my office in another part of our apartment. Working well, getting 90MB/s. However the connection is lost at times and I've only been able to re-establish it by powering down both WAPs. Seems to happen once a day. Do they have some power-saving setting I can turn off? BTW tried to put WAC104 in the "model" field above but it gets rejected.Solved6KViews0likes8CommentsWNAP320 won't bridge
I have two of these APs that I want to bridge. I have one wired and one bridged to extend my LAN coverage. The downstream AP will get power and wireless lights but nothing for LAN or Activity. 1. I have the MAC addresses set correctly on each one (each has the wireless MAC address of the other) 2. I have the channels both set to 6 3. I have WEP2-PSK with AES on both and matching passphrases 4. The wired AP has an address reservation on the DHCP server. Should the bridge also have one? If so, to which MAC address - the wired one or the wireless? What could be missing?Solved6.8KViews0likes3Comments
