Hi I have an RN 214 that I could not write to any more. I have seen other have simular issues on the forum. Need suggestion how to proseed. The problem started earlier today. I updated the ReadyNAS OS to version 6.8.1 just a few days ago. Not jsure if it is related. I have enabled Bit-rot-protection on the share, I read that this may be a bad idea? I was palaying around pydio installation and i ended up trying the following nano /etc/apt/sources.list add deb http://packages.dotdeb.org wheezy-php56-zts all deb-src http://packages.dotdeb.org wheezy-php56-zts all apt-get update if you get an error like: GPG error: http://packages.dotdeb.org wheezy-php56 Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY E9C74FEEA2098A6E then : wget http://www.dotdeb.org/dotdeb.gpg apt-key add dotdeb.gpg and again apt-get update then : apt-get install php5 check you on PHP 5.6.x php -v if all's good restart apache: service apache2 restart when apt-get install php5, os asked me if i want to keep the configuration or not and i asked no (maybe my mistake but i had no choice as other option failed) Now I turn into trouble depite the fact that php5 is well installed I can't install pydio that doesnt appear anymore in apps, i nether can't install any cms (joomla, drupal, oscommerce), frontview says "application list is outdated and need to be refresh" or application install failed, other apps are installing ok I tryed a physical reset with OS reinstall without any success Somemone may help, thx by advance3.3KViews0likes3CommentsiSCSI corruption. Bitlocker locked? Not looking good, ALL my data!
So my LUN Volume has been working great with iSCSI initiators on windows 8.1 and now 10. No problem. Today, after upgrading my Surface Pro 3 to win 10,. I create a new initiator on the admin page for ReadyNAS, connect with the iSCSI initiator. and it connected, but right away had a exclamation mark thing over the drive letter in explorer for each drive. It was lagging bad and would keep giving (not responding) message in explorer. After a few mins I disconnected the initiator from the target and moved back to my main desktop PC. I reconnected on that PC like I normally have been, and now all of the drives are showing that exclamation point icon, and the drive that I was actually trying to access from the surface P3 is showing as bitlocker locked. If I try to open any of the drives in explorer, it says disk corruption or damaged. This is really freaaking me out being that this is literally all of my data and I am new to NAS so I was thinking that being that I had RAID 5 I was safe. It never occuired to me that I would lose 4 HDDs at once. Is there anything I can do or am I totally boned here? Please help and thank you in advance for ANY help.5.5KViews0likes9Comments
