A month ago I purchased an RBK50 Orbi with one satellite and everything is working fine except, I cannot connect to any websites on the utah.edu domain. I contacted support 3 times and twice the agents hung up on me right after I explained the issue. The third time I spent 2 hours on the phone with a Technical engineer with out a solution. I can access the web sites on the utah.edu domain from my phone or if I directly connect my laptop to the modem. Any recommendation on what I can do? The technical engineer refused to exchange my Orbi and I am about to give up on Netgear. Have only used Netgear networking products for the last 15 years but the poor customer support is making me consider my loyalty.WP-Webseite und Domain einrichten (Projekt)
My apache configuration is a bit broken now. fortunately the admin page works well. I installed the owncloud add-on and it was working perfectly on the local host. Then I wanted to have access to it from public internet. Initially I set up a DDNS in no-ip.com then I just change the etc/apache2/sites-available/default file where I added the virtualhost for ports 80 and 443, I am not sure this was the file I had to edit, i also set-up the port forwarding in the router. After this I could access the owncloud from my local network and from internet through the no-ip domain. Then I wanted to create the SSL certificate and I tried using the cerbot, but it failed in different ways. One of the error was that the port 443 was being used, then I kill apache by console but still the error was there. The problem was that after that I couldn’t start apache, was getting some code error. I just did a reboot to the whole NAS and apache started but the owncloud connection was broken. ThenI tried local.ip/owncloud I get “The requested URL /owncloud/ was not found on this server.” But when I tried my local.ip I get to the readynas admin site as expected and the owncloud is up and running. I brought back the original default etc/apache2/sites-available/default but it did'nt work. I found out that owncloud is still accessible using http://local.ip/owncloud/index.php/login and also https. I tried different things found in the apache forums and owncloud forums, but somehow the file system is different and they hace other files and other configuration files. then i think i was starting to get the things worse and I decided to stop and ask for help. Right now the things are like this: http://local.ip/owncloud goes to http://local.ip/owncloud/index.php/login and works well https://local.ip/owncloud shows text that starts with "* author Lukas Reschke <lukas@statuscode.ch> * author Morris..... " certificate not working http://no-ip.domain/owncloud works well https://no-ip.domain/owncloud works well, certificate not working I also tried to use my owndomain that I have in godaddy but i couldnt make it connect to the no-ip domain. I created a masked forwarding but I dont know why it doesnt reach. I just don’t know how to fix the local.ip and how to add ssl cerfiticates without messing up the rest, should i add virtualhosts for the no-ip domain and the godaddy domain? I have spent some days on it, but cleary im still beginner to this things. thanks a lot for any help! /OliverDNS Issue with FVS336gv2
I have 5 sites all with FVS336gv2. In our hub site we have a dhcp server and everything works fine. In our spoke sites the fvs336gv2 is running DHCP and in ipconfig /all lists a couple of our dns servers and the fvs336gv2 is listed as a third dns server. Is this normal? If not how do i get rid of it as a DNS server. When i try to join a new computer to our domain i have to manually set the dns servers then i move it back to auto config once joined.Solved4.6KViews0likes2CommentsReadynas 1100 Active direcrory option is not found

Hi, Had a recent issue with our ReadyNAS 312. Originally it was in our domain, under OU=Servers,OU=Site,OU=Regional Infrastructure,DC=domain,DC=net. During the issue, we removed it fromt he domain & deleted the entry in the OU. Then performed the Firmware upgrade from 6.1 to 6.4, fixed the original issue, but now want to put it back in the domain, under the same OU. We've tried supplying: Regional Infrastructure/Site/Servers (which is how we originally set it up) - as per How do I configure active directory mode on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? but it says the "specified OU does not exist in the domain". We've also tried Regional Infrastructure,Site,Servers (commas not slashes) as per How do I use the domain security mode. But again get the same error. I've also tried switching the OU's around, as it says the lowest should be first, so Servers/Site/Regional Infrastructure. But that didn't work. Which is the correct OU containing naming convention to supply? Thanks BenSolved5.2KViews0likes3Comments
