failed disks
1 TopicDisk failed - re-synced, disk failed again - do i really need to replace the disk?
Can anyone help me make sense of this. 2 of my disks have been reported failures in the past week. I've ONLY just begun to use Chronosync to now back up my computer files to it. (There are a lot of files, in the 1M+ small files/ development files etc). It is only in this past 2 weeks i've been trying to perform a regular sync from my computer to have a laptop backup. I've had the nas for some time and its been generally just movie storage. ;) The issue Disk 1 fails, i resync, the disk 4 fails, i resync, then disk 1 fails again, resync - how can i check if the disk is bad that i need to replace it? - more so, if it is a bad disk and needs to be replace, what could be causing this type of tag team failure...? There is a snippet of the log. Fri Nov 17 2017 7:46:06 Disk: Disk in channel 1 (Internal) changed state from ONLINE to FAILED.
