I'm not sure if this is a configuration or an OS issue, but I noticed today that all default or unspecified HTTP traffic to my ReadyNAS 102 is going straight to /admin. (example, http://mydomain/ goes straight to the admin login page while http://mydomain/ShareName redirects correctly.) In the past, I could go to System>Settings>HTTP and choose a default folder/share to direct unspecified HTTP traffic to a specified share/folder. When I try to do this now, I only get "None Selected" as an option in the drop down menu. I've tried changing this in Edge/IE/Firefox/Chrome to make sure this wans't a browser issue. Screen shot of issue Any thoughts?4.1KViews0likes12CommentsHTTP Service: Enable http admin
I'm running OS 6.4.1 (on my legacy RN Ultra 4, but that's probably not relevant). I've configured a share as (default) public_html web directory, as documented here In the Admin interface at [system, settings, services, http] there is a checkbox next to "Enable HTTP Admin". What does is do exactly? The checkbox isn't described in the help pages https://<my_ip>/admin/help/system_tab_settings_17.html I'm looking for an http admin section to disable file browsing for example.Solved5.3KViews0likes2CommentsReadyNAS "Admin Page" is offline after messing with http settings
I was messing with my http settings and now the http goes to the file folder I was fooling with instead of the Admin page. When I type the local ip address in with the /admin the blue box takes forever to fill and then it comes back with Ready NAS Admin page is offline. and try checking back when the system is not busy. The ready cloud works fine but can't see the http settings I was messing with on that screen. Any ideas?2.2KViews0likes2Comments
