Comcast/Nighthawk IP assignment conflict?
Hi, I recently installed my new Nighthawk, I am impressed and it is working pretty well. But I have a Comcast ISP and they give you a router as part of the cable modem. That Router assigns 10.0.0.x as IP addresses. I noticed the Nighthawk assigns the same 10.0.0.x IP addresses (my old linksys was completely different, 192.168.1.x). So could one or the other of these routers clobber an IP that was already assigned by the other?Solved9.7KViews0likes9Comments
