1 TopicOption missing to select certain (tested, compatible) cameras
Sir/Ma'am: I have used a Sony SNC-DH280 camera with ReadyNAS Surveillance successfully for several months now. However, when I added a Sony SNC-VM630 series camera to my network, I was unable to configure it with Surveillance. There is no option to select that model in the camera settings page, even though the model is listed as tested and fully compatible (http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RNNVR01L-1000S/ReadyNAS_Cameras_DS_28Feb14.pdf, page 139). I attempted to select the SNC-VB630 as the nearest match, and Surveillance would connect to the camera, but the reported framerate was 17 (vs. a nominal 30) and no recorded video showed up in the playback tool, nor was the camera presented as an option to monitor in the "Remote Live Viewer" desktop application. As an alternate approach, I tried to configure the channel as "ONVIF" as opposed to vendor-specific, but that method was unsuccessful. Configuration data ; ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition RAIDiator 4.2.28 Surveillance 1.3.2.4 Any ideas on appropriate configuration to replicate the results whatever tester achieved in declaring it fully compatible? Thanks in advance for your help! With respect, Mike
