I have not used ReadyCLOUD in quite some months. I tried it just now (from Starbucks) and on the page with the window labeled "Sign in with MyNETGEAR Account" I enter my email address and Password, but it just redisplays the same window with Email and Password changed to the color red. I don't know what that means, bvut I can't seem to get beyond it. I know the password is correct because I was given the option of changing my password. It send me an email with a link so I changed it. But I can't log in. Any thoughts on how to fix the problem would be appreciated.8.2KViews0likes41CommentsCannot login to readycloud with MyNetgear account details

Hello, I have following device: - ReadyNas 104 (RN104) - Operating with 6.0.X software (from what I recall) And I have following problem: - Can't IP access it: This site can’t provide a secure connection 192.168.1.3 doesn't adhere to security standards. ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT - earlier I was able to see the login page, but it didn't let me in, the pswd recovery thingy didnt allow me to send a reset, and the password that I used was not accepted (kept reloading the page to show me the login box again) - now I'm still able to access it through Windows and copy forth and back things, and I can still access the admin login page from mobile browser. but. it repeats the problem with relogging the login page. What is wrong, what could be damaged and what is the possible solution for this? I feel a little bit helpless, especially now, when I need to move to a new laptop. Thanks in advance for any help. [System used: Windows 8.1] Regards, Marcin3.9KViews0likes17Commentsip address defaults to file
On Windows 10 when I try to access a share on the LAN by entering \\readynas ip address\ the browser defaults to http://ip address and says that it can not find the file. When I try it with the user name at the end of the login \\ip address\john it does the same thing. When I use the name of the share \\ipaddress\accounting I have the same problem. Any ideas? After updating the system to v. 6.5 the IP address of my ReadyNas changes after each reboot. Not much, just the last 3 digits. This means that now I always have to check the IP adress first. So I tried to login by entering the ReadyNas name in the browser address field, but that doesn't seem to work. The browser can't resolve the ReadyNas name. My ReadyNas is called AirNas, so I entered https://AirNas I guess I am missing something here, but what? Thank you for your help, Franco3.4KViews0likes7CommentsUser level Web server login
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to give users access to the web interface? The only access that appears to work is IP-Address/admin (For the administrator account only), but I would like to give other users the ability to restart the device via the web server interface. They are not advanced users and would not be comfy doing things via the Terminal. If the answer is "NO," I'd like to know if there is any other way to restart the device that does not require the use of the terminal. Hi, just bought a ReadyNAS 312 but not sure yet about some basic principles. I wish to use it mainly as a backup destination but also as the main source for Crashplan backups. In detail I won't be installing Crashplan headlessly on the NAS (totally unsupported) but I'd rather install on my computer which is then connected to the NAS through my line (just check, Crashplan support backups of nas attached files). What I don't understand is how can automatically make sure that Crashplan can see the files at all the time.. I may think that this must be easy with Linux computers and NFS. I just need to configure the shares to be automatically mounted at every boot, right? What about Mac computers, is the same achievable with SMB/AFP so that I don't have to login all the time under Finder. I know these questions sound a bit silly, but it's the first time I use a "serious" NAS. To be honest: soon or later we'll back only Linux boxes in the house, but at this stage we can't yet get rid of an Apple computers. Many thanks for any suggestionSolved
