Mapped Network Drives on ReadyNAS
Hi All, Windows, as anyone familiar with backup solutions and basic networking will know, has a nifty way of sharing drives and folders between computers. Does ReadyNAS have some kind of drive mapping feature that will allow you to add drive from one ReadyNAS to the other? For instance, can I get a share from one ReadyNAS to show up on another so I can easily transfer files from one to the other?2.8KViews0likes1Comment
Automatically Connect a Mapped Drive when ReadyCLOUD Logs In
Hi my client has a ReadyNAS 102 which they use for file sharing on Windows computers. They occasionally take their computers out of the office and use the ReadyCLOUD client to work remotely. When the users move between network locations it seems the shared drive is not automatically reconnected, it gives the error message 'the network connection has not been restored' The only way they are able to reconnect is by manually disconnecting the shared drive, then re-mapping it.
