4 TopicsOneDrive sync support (beta)
I'm exploring the beta support for OneDrive sync, and found several shortcomings that I'd like to see addressed in updates to the 6.9.0 firmware: 1. Shared folders that are added to my OneDrive aren't sync, while on Windows and Mac clients they are sync'd. The NAS should sync them as well. This has been committed as a 6.9.1 feature, which is great. 2. There is no multi-user support, though it really needs to be added. User A should be able to sync their OneDrive to their own share, while user B should be able to log in and establish a separate OneDrive authentication and sync relationship in their own share. 3. There is no way to ascertain sync state / progress. Somewhere there needs to be a progress indicator or "files remaining to be sync'd." Otherwise, users have no idea whether their ReadyNAS is in a clean or dirty sync state, thus no confidence of a full copy of their data. 4. You should document that a 0 means "no bandwidth restriction" rather than "0 KBps allowed". Thanks, Jeff2.5KViews0likes8CommentsR6700 Not able to cast to device (Xbox One) from my windows 10 PC
Just bought the r6700 and can not cast to my xbox one anymore. Im sure its a streaming function in the router but I cannot find it. I tried with QoS enabled and Disabled, but neither worked. I would like to play my movies from my windows 10 PC to my xbox one like I use to.Solved6.7KViews0likes3CommentsEdge Browser Certificate Error
We've moved to using Microsoft EDGE browser as standard (tired of using 3 browsers one for each "thing" it does best. Trying to muscle through this transition. This should be an "easy find" in the community forums, but there's only one post on Edge, and the most recent I could find on browswer certificates was 2009 and 2012... ;-/ On some Windows 10 environments (new systems, or clean installs, no garbage build-up in registry...) we are getting certificate errors. "There’s a problem with this website’s security certificate" and presented with the usual warning not to procede. What's the shortest way to add the ReadyNAS system's certificate to be seen by the Microsoft EDGE browser as a "safe" website?Solved17KViews0likes4Comments
