I have an MR90 Mesh system in place. One unit is hard wired back to the router, with two our satellites wirelessly connected. Have 1GIG speed from ISP. System was working great with speeds, both wired and wirelessly getting close to 1GIG. However, in the last month, my WiFi speeds have been cut more than in half, sometimes as slow as 100megs-ish. Wired is fine, still getting close to 1GIG. I noticed that my system has a firmware version of 1.0.2.42. When going out to the website I noticed that the latest version available 1.0.2.38. Somehow this router has a newer firmware than is available on the website. I called support and didn't get any help. My theory is: 1) units received an incorrect firmware or 2) .42 was out there, and was pulled from Netgear due to technical error... can anyone shed some light on this?MK93S system having slow upload speeds
Hello. I have a 300/300 Mbps network plan with Verizon and an MK93S mesh system, but speed tests on my wireless devices show upload speeds to be much slower than download speeds. Compared to my older mesh router system (which was only dual-band WiFi 5), my wireless devices had speedtests of around 200 Mbps download and upload. After switching to this router system, my wireless devices show a modest improvement in download speeds to around 230 Mbps, but upload speeds have cratered to only around 70-80 Mbps. In my testing, the router itself’s built-in speed tests show a 300 Mbps download and upload as expected. Hardwired devices also show similar performance of 300 Mbps when connected to the router via ethernet. I understand that wireless devices will not achieve the 300 Mbps speeds, but wireless devices are the only ones experiencing the degraded upload speeds to 70-80 Mbps, which is much worse than my older router. I am currently running V1.0.2.46_1.0.42 on my main router. Satellites are running V1.0.2.46 as well. I have tried turning on and off QOS, but neither have fixed the upload speed issue. I currently keep it disabled. Netgear Armor is disabled as well. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
