Hello, I have following device: - ReadyNas 104 (RN104) - Operating with 6.0.X software (from what I recall) And I have following problem: - Can't IP access it: This site can’t provide a secure connection 192.168.1.3 doesn't adhere to security standards. ERR_SSL_SERVER_CERT_BAD_FORMAT - earlier I was able to see the login page, but it didn't let me in, the pswd recovery thingy didnt allow me to send a reset, and the password that I used was not accepted (kept reloading the page to show me the login box again) - now I'm still able to access it through Windows and copy forth and back things, and I can still access the admin login page from mobile browser. but. it repeats the problem with relogging the login page. What is wrong, what could be damaged and what is the possible solution for this? I feel a little bit helpless, especially now, when I need to move to a new laptop. Thanks in advance for any help. [System used: Windows 8.1] Regards, Marcin3.8KViews0likes17CommentsCan't view subfolders/files within shares in Share section in the admin page. OS 6.6.1 Using AD.
ReadyNAS 314 running on 6.6.1 and using Active Directory The issue that I'm having is that when I attempt to drill down into shares in the Share section of of the admin page, nothing happens aside from the progress bar moving temporarily and then disappearing. When viewing the files in Windows explorer, I am not having any of these issues. This behavior is happening in both the current Shares view as well as the recovery view. It is happening with all shares. I am logging into the admin page with the ReadyNAS built-in admin account. This wouldn't be a problem aside from removing my ability to be able to recover specific files and folders within each share. I noticed this last week, but it could have been an existing issue since we moved over to active directory a couple of months ago. It seems like it might be an AD permissions issue, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.2.6KViews0likes2CommentsNew users cannot access any ReadyNAS shares after latest firmware update
After the FW upgrade of my Ready NAS 102 requested from Netgear, all users created after the upgrade cannot access any public or specific shared folders nor any specific folder of newly added users(s). User is successfully created at MyNetgear and added to ReadyNAS. After adding to the ReadyNAS, no user folder was created in the “home” folder. All other former users have their own folders in the “home” created. Folders in the “home” have the name in form of users’ e-mail addresses. Even after installing ReadyCloud app only backup folders of particular user are accessible, despite of setting share rights to this user. No access is possible even from the ReadyCloud app itself. For example the public folder “FamilyMusic” is accessible from all previously created users and DLNA devices but not to new users. New user has also no way to map any specific folder(s), despite all other previously existing users can map any folder if sharing is set. Every newly added user gets “access denied”. What's wrong with this FW?Solved2.7KViews0likes3Comments
