Hi friends, I have my prior mesh system the MR60 with 4 satellites, I have just upgraded my router to the BE9300, this works great but there seems to be several dark spots in my house. I setup my MR60 to AP mode and it shows internet but not give the AP ssid I assigned to it. It is also not syncing with the satellites. Any suggestions?cant change IP address range values in LAN DHCP setting
I am using MR60 router. I cant change DHCP range in LAN setting from admin console. As soon as I change ending IP address (last four digits) from 10.0.0.254 to 10.0.0.250 and click Apply, the router restarts and changes the value back to 10.0.0.254.596Views0likes34CommentsEnabling VPN service on a NETGEAR router using a MAC OS computer
Hello, I am trying to enable VPN Service on my MR60 Router with Firmware Version V1.1.7.134_2.0.65. I followed this knowledge base https://kb.netgear.com/25389/Enabling-VPN-service-on-a-NETGEAR-router-using-a-MAC-OS-computer I am seeing the following error in Tunnelblick. 2025-11-28 16:10:40.081876 TLS Error: TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds (check your network connectivity) 2025-11-28 16:10:40.081983 TLS Error: TLS handshake failed I reached out to Tunnelblick community and they told me I should contact Netgear support. I reached out to Netgear and they told me they don't provide support for 3rd party software. I am stuck with this error. Any help is much appreciated.818Views0likes13CommentsNew internet provider opens can of worms
I have a Mesh Wi-fi Router MR60. I just switched to Xfinity with their Gateway at 1000Mbps. Do I use their router and simply use the Mesh satellites as extenders, not using the Mesh's router and Wi-Fi? I connected the Mesh Internet port to the Gateway and the old Internet name is fixed within the Nighthawk app and I cannot select the new internet name, but the blue lights come on the satellites, so I guess they are spreading the signal within my home. I cleared my history/cache on my Windows laptop, but cannot get into the Netgear Router Login because I'm not on the same router as the Mesh is in (the old internet name). The Nighthawk app on my iPhone and iPad automatically have the old internet connection name and I cannot seem to be able to change this. I read about Bridge mode, but Xfinity says not to do this. Thanks for your helpDoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source
Hello, Now that I have enabled OpenVPN on Netgear Router for developers to connect using OpenVPN clients and also the router has now Public IP, I am sure bad actors may try to connect or others things that I am not 100% sure. For example, I saw this logged in the log [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 40908 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 37576 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 38274 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 57958 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 58656 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 39428 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 43444 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 36466 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 37716 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 35524 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 32956 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 [DoS attack: TCP SYN Flood] from source 3.17.72.122,port 43748 Monday, Jan 05,2026 19:22:22 How would I prevent these kinds of TCP SYN Flood won't happen again? Do I simply block the IP address? If so, how do I do that? Secondly how do I ensure only the developers in my team can connect to the router and not anyone else? I appreciate all your insights and help on this. Thank you. MustafaLose Internet as soon as I connect OpenVPN
You all remember me configuring MR60 for VPN Service. I established the Public IP address and DNS. When I connect OpenVPN from my MacBook, I lose Internet in my MacBook. I look under Port Forwarding/ Port Triggering. Unfortunately, I did not capture when I have done there. It is blank. Is that the reason why I am not able to connect to Internet from my MacBook? Thank you, Mustafa
