I am having the same issue as described by nquintero. It is occurring overnight and only affects 2.4 GHz devices. Router Firmware Version V1.0.5.22 ISP Modem/ONT: AT&T BGW320-505 with IP Passthrough (DHCPS-Fixed) to the BE9300 Cable: CAT5E shielded between modem and router Protection Engine: ON IPv6: Disabled Smart Connect: Enabled 2.4 GHz: Auto channel 5 GHz: Auto channel Access Control is ON I do see these. DoS Attack: RST Scan from source: 52.223.17.52, port 443 DoS Attack: RST Scan from source: 34.211.134.21, port 443 It has been solid for several months since install but just this week began to drop my connections to my wifi lighting devices in the middle of the night. I do not stream televisions, those are hard wired. The 5 GHz and wired devices remain connected. The only recovery is a power cycle.82Views2likes2CommentsBE9300 – 2.4 GHz Band Stops Working While 5 GHz Stays Stable
I’m having an issue with my Nighthawk BE9300 where the 2.4 GHz band stops working while the 5 GHz and wired connections remain stable. Symptoms: Devices on 2.4 GHz drop offline or cannot reconnect until I reboot or disable/re-enable the 2.4 GHz radio. The SSID stays available, you can connect to it but its "offline" Logs show heavy DHCP churn and repeated “DoS Attack: RST Scan” messages from external IPs. Firmware is up to date. It usually gets resolved with power cycling it. Has anyone else experienced this with the BE9300 (or similar BE-series routers)? Didconfig change fix it? Any tips would be appreciated.141Views2likes3CommentsWired Devices not showing on Orbi App
I have two devices (Playstations) that I want to pause at certain times. I can do this when they connect to WIFI, but I purposely purchased an additional satellite so I could hardwire the two Playstations to achieve better speeds. However, hardwiring them into the satellite means they dont appear in the device list and available for me to add into a group under the parent controls. Any ideas to fix this?220Views1like7CommentsRBRE960 DHCP issue?
I have an RBRE960 with three RBSE960 units. Two are wired, and one is connected wirelessly. I’m experiencing major issues with my devices losing connection to the network. My iPhone suddenly drops the connection and gets a 169.254 address. The same happens with my Apple TV, Mac, etc. To fix it, I have to forget the network on the device and reconnect. I have the latest firmware installed, v7.2.7.15. What could be causing this, and how can I resolve it? Thanks in advance! No Parental Controls
Hope no one minds the reboot a few years later.... Working with an Orbi RBR750 running V7.2.7.15_5.1.16, and any time I go to add a device to Apple Home, get messages that router does not support HomeKit. Have to say I am am a bit surprised, especially when there is a dedicated band for IOT, to the point where I am thinking it must be me and configuration settings preventing devices from being added to HomeKit. Anyone running HomeKit from an Orbi? What tips or tricks worked to get the devices added? Adding a device works as expected up until the last second when the error is displayed. Thank you in advance for any input...AV200 and LED light interference
Hi, I have been working for days to fix my drop outs of the powerline extenders I have in my study - I traced it to an LED up-light that I've had for 2 years, so I assume the bulb is dying and sending out too much interference. Just thought I'd pass it on in case it helps someone else !111Views1like1CommentOrbi app not connecting via Local or Anywhere Access, cant log in from PC as administrator.
I have an Orbi AX4200 RBR750 WiFi 6 router with two satellites, but I am unable to connect through Anywhere Access or locally. My Nighthawk CM2000 2.5Gb cable modem is connected to a Mediacom ISP 1Gb fiber line. I use Windows Defender across my iPhone, iPad, and PC, as well as the Windows Defender VPN on these devices. My PC runs Total Defense Internet Security Suite CE 25.4. I also use an iPhone 16 with iOS 26.0.1, accessing Anywhere Access remotely and Local access when on-site. The ORBI app version is 2.48.0.43. Oddly, the app shows that I am connected with a green dot under "Your Products" in Anywhere Access, but it then displays a message saying, "Device is Offline," which it is not. I am also unable to log in via Orbilogin.net or the IP address. My WiFi, ISP, and network are functioning fine, but I lack local or remote access to perform updates, reboot remotely, or check activity. Thanks in advance for any assistance in resolving or identifying the issue with connecting.Solved249Views1like13CommentsRBR760 recurring issues
I've got an RBR760 that is set up in bridge mode, behind the router of my internet provider (IP). The IP router is handling everything DNS and DHCP related while the RBR760 (together with a satellite) handles the mesh wifi in my home. The RBR760 gets a valid IP adress in the local network, is reachable with the Orbi app and everything is fine. For a while. In the past year the following scenario happened several times: - Wifi gets flaky with sometimes a disconnect - Orbi app doesn't see the RBR760 anymore - RBR760 Admin page is not available anymore (its address still responds to ping) - After a few hours of providing an unstable wifi connection, the internet connection is not available anymore and the RBR760 stops responding to pings. However its wifi network is still up and can be connected to. Also the IP router still sees the RBR760 device as online and connected. At this point the only option left for me is to give the RBR760 a complete factory reset and perform the first-time setup again, after which it will work fine. For a couple of weeks, maybe even months if I'm lucky. Then eventually the whole charade starts again. Firmware version is the latest available one: 6.3.8.5 I've tried several things so far: enabling or disabling Armor, disabling auto updates, disabling remote login through Netgear: it does not matter as the outcome eventually is the same. Does anyone know what could be happening with my Orbi? Why does it work fine for a while and starts acting up eventually?
