Hi I recently changed my DNS on my Net Gear C6300 (that is connected to my desk top) to primary 1.1.1.1 and secondary 1.0.0.1. I then hit applied. I still have the internet; however, I can no longer access my admin page. The message that I get is my device is no longer connected to my router. Please can anyone tell me how I can get it back. I am running Linux 18.2 My browser is Firefox. Thank you Travis617Views0likes1CommentWireless LED blinks some but Power Light is Solid
Even though my POWER Light is solid my Wireless light (very bottom LED) will BLINK ever few seconds but erratically. Should not the wireless light always be sollid? The 2.4g and 5g blink and that is expected. But the WIRELESS LED? Please give me your thoughts. Thanks!3.1KViews0likes2CommentsC6300 DNS issue
Modem-router worked perfectly for nine months, until I (unwisely, it turns out) decided to turn it off for a month when I went out of town. When I came back and turned it back on, I found the modem was still getting a signal from the ISP (all lights solid), and the computer (Mac) was still getting a signal from the router (both via ethernet cable and wifi), but the computer was unable to access the internet. Multiple reboots of all components, resetting modem -- nothing helped. Finally I discovered that running a ping test with an IP address was successful, but doing the same with a domain name failed. Hence likely a DNS issue in the modem. Any ideas, suggestions? (A different modem works fine with the same ISP and computer, so the problem is in the Netgear modem.)13KViews0likes9CommentsNETGEAR SUPPORT IS HORRIBLE #27221731
as much money as we pay for these products they cant hire people that speak decent english!!!!! it would be nice to be able to understand the person from bombay that is trouble shooting my equipment and then tries to sell me coverage at $139.00 for a product that should have worked right in the first place. who knows he may have been helpful if we could get through the language barrier.3.5KViews1like1Comment
